A Summer of Fun at The Woodlands Cottage

The Woodlands Cottage manager, Julie, decided to create a 100 Days of Summer activity list for her residents and caregivers to participate in this summer. A couple of weeks ago I posted about how much fun everyone was having with the activities and games. Since then, I  have received countless photos and tidbits of information from Julie telling me about all the excitement at The Woodlands Cottage. I wanted to share all the pictures, but more importantly I wanted to tell you about the caregivers making the activities for the residents unforgettable.

In almost every picture and story Julie has sent me, her caregivers are the main characters. The thought and creativeness that they put into the games is to be commended at the highest level. I am pretty sure they are having more fun with the games than the residents. This group of caregivers has done everything from helping design bleach pen t-shirts to tying baskets on them for the residents to play a basket toss game. Needless to say they will do anything and everything to ensure the residents at The Woodlands Cottage are having the time of their lives. What these caregivers have done is just a glimpse of how all AutumnGrove Cottage caregivers go the extra mile in caring for our residents. We appreciate all of our caregivers and we know they are near and dear to every resident’s heart.
